Training Events 

Training events will be provided to nominated local authority staff over the coming weeks in our training room located at Holbrook House, Holles Street, Dublin 2. Attendance at these training events will be organised on an ‘invitation only’ basis and will be co-ordinated by our Community Supports Unit.

 
Welcome to the Gateway Supports & Resources page. This page will provide you with support materials and resources in relation to Gateway and will be updated as new resources become available, so do keep checking back with us.

Gateway is an activation initiative of the Department of Social Protection and managed through City and County Councils.  The programme provides short-term quality and suitable working opportunities for people who are unemployed, while at the same time carrying out beneficial work within communities, and contributes to the management of the Live Register.
 
Pobal’s role in Gateway is to provide participant payroll services to City and County Councils and to develop and provide information systems that capture essential data about the programme, the participants and their work.

We provide a dedicated helpline and email address for all Gateway employers – the contact information is listed on the top right hand side of this page.
