The Ability Programme is a new programme funded by the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection and the European Social Fund.
The Ability Programme will support young people with disabilities (15-29 years of age) to improve their employability through a range of person-centred supports.

Organisations can apply for funding using Pobal’s online application form. Our online application form will be available from 4th December 2017. The closing date for applications is 12pm on Wednesday 31st January 2018.
The Ability Information Guide (Updated with FAQs) provides full details about the programme and the application process.  Please ensure that you fully read the programme guidelines before you decide to apply for Ability funding.
Applications can only be made via the online application form. The online application form will be open and available via the Pobal website from 4th December. In the meantime, you can use the word version of the Ability Programme application form, budget template, and other required templates to begin planning your application.  Please contact us at if you require any of these documents in a different format.
