Chairpersons’ and Managers’ Forum

The purpose of the Chairpersons’ and Managers Forum is to provide:

1. An opportunity for Chairpersons and Managers from across all 14 Peace III Partnerships to share their experiences of their challenging and important role and;

2. A networking opportunity to see how other Partnerships manage the delivery of Peace III and run effective Partnership meetings
 
Topics/ Themes
The Forum will focus on topics and themes to be decided by the Chairpersons and Managers and relevant to their role.

Format
The format of the Forum is as follows:
• Bi-annual meeting to take place.
• Attendance by the Chairpersons and Managers of each Peace and Reconciliation Partnership.
• Theme of meetings to be decided in advance.
• Venue to meetings to rotate between CRC offices in Dungannon and Pobal Offices in Monaghan.
• Meetings to be organized by the Consortium.
• Time for informal networking to be set aside at every meeting.
 
Meeting 2 – 28th March 2012
 
Specific objectives for this meeting, based on the work of the Preparatory Group were:

• Update on progress since the last meeting
• Showcase some thematic work on leadership in peace building and reconciliation
• Establish a means to share practice across all partnerships and improve the Programme profile across the region
• Deal with Finance and verification issues and advise peace partnerships of key issues and learning from process to date from SEUPB perspective
• Establish a means to bring burning finance issues to a speedy resolve with SEUPB
