Pobal currently provides management and support services to circa 25 programmes for four Government Departments, the EU and other bodies.
Pobal operates on the basis of a Framework Agreement with the Department of Rural and Community Development (lead department), and programme-specific Service Level Agreements with individual departments. Each year a Programme of Work is agreed with each Government Department for any work that Pobal is requested to undertake. Our management of work undertaken by Government is subject to the controls identified in the Code of Practice for State Bodies. The Comptroller and Auditor General audits our financial statements on an annual basis.
