Training and Mentoring Supports for Social Enterprises (TMSE)
As part of the Dormant Accounts Fund Action Plan for 2018, the Department of Rural and Community Development granted €800,000 to the Training and Mentoring Supports for Social Enterprises (TMSE) Pilot.
This is a pilot scheme to support social enterprises to grow and enhance their services and their traded income by providing tailored supports, mentoring and training. This training measure follows the publication of the first National Social Enterprise Policy for Ireland 2019 – 2022.
The measure aims to increase the impact of social enterprises by enhancing their capacity to deliver services and generate sustainable traded income through the provision of tailored supports.
Successful applicants ranged from national and regional to local organisations and include statutory and educational bodies. They deliver tailored training to new and existing social enterprises aimed at developing capacity, particularly in relation to enterprise development.
